Tiger eye began as crocidolite fibres that quartz slowly replaced, fibre by fibre. Those parallel fibres are why a single band of light slides across the surface when you turn the bead — chatoyancy, the same effect as a cat's eye. It is difficult and expensive to imitate, so tiger eye is one of the few stones you can buy without a certificate and still be reasonably sure of.
Earth is the element of weight and stillness. It feeds Metal and steadies whatever feels unsettled — which is why an earth object is what a chart asks for in a sector that should hold rather than move.

Processing takes 1–3 business days and shipping 12–20 business days, so most orders arrive 13–23 business days after they are placed. We ship to the United States only. Shipping is included in the price. U.S. import duties or taxes are not: if any are charged on delivery, the buyer pays them.
