Chart my home ↗About this piece
Agate takes dye well, and has been dyed since Roman times. The deep, even red you see in almost every shop is a treated stone, not a natural one. We could call it natural and most buyers would never know; we would rather tell you, because everything else on this site is built on being checkable.
The treatment is stable. It is done through the whole stone rather than painted on, so it will not rub off or fade onto skin.
Fire is the element that drains Wood and warms a cold corner. On a Flying Star chart it is the traditional answer to the quarrel star; in a personal reading it belongs to people born into Fire.
Why this object
Red stones stand in for Fire, the element of warmth. Fire drains Wood, which is how the quarrel star is traditionally settled — with steady warm light or a red object rather than anything flickering.
How to wear or place it
Wear it on either wrist. If you are choosing by your own element, the free personal reading calculates it from your birth date.
If you are treating a room instead, the home reading names the sectors that call for Fire this year.

How we choose what we sell
Materials, stated plainly
Every listing names what it is made of. If a stone has been dyed or heat-treated, the listing says so.
Certificates you can check
Where a lab certificate exists we show it with its number, so you can verify it yourself rather than take our word.
No promises we can't keep
We explain the tradition behind each object and where it belongs. We never claim it will bring luck, health or money.
Questions
Is it natural?
The material line above states it exactly. Where we hold a lab certificate it is shown with a number you can verify, and if a stone has been treated the listing says so.
Will it bring me luck?
Honestly: no object does that by itself. Feng shui treats objects as the last step, after placement and the room itself. What this gives you is a carefully chosen object, in the right place, as a daily reminder of what you are working toward.
Where exactly should it go?
That depends on you or your home, which is what the free readings calculate. Each one shows the direction or sector, and why.
Where does it ship from, and how long does it take?
From China. We do not keep stock in a U.S. warehouse: each piece is ordered from the workshop that makes it after you order, packed in Guangdong, and flown to you. Processing takes 1–3 business days and shipping 12–20 business days, so most orders arrive 13–23 business days after they are placed. We ship to the United States only. Shipping is included in the price. U.S. import duties or taxes are not: if any are charged on delivery, the buyer pays them.
Shipping and returns?
Shipping is included in the price, so there is nothing extra to pay at checkout. If a piece arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, tell us within 14 days of delivery and we will send a replacement or refund you in full. The shipping and returns policies are linked beside the Buy button.
