The wu lou is the gourd physicians carried medicine in, and the shape is the whole argument: a narrow neck over a full body holds what it gathers. It appears in folk practice beside sickbeds, and in five-element terms it counts as Metal because of what it is made of.
This one is cast solid rather than stamped from sheet. Pick it up and the weight tells you immediately — a plated zinc-alloy gourd of the same size feels hollow, and its coating wears through at the edges within a year.
We make no claim about health, and you should be wary of anyone who does. This is a traditional object with a long history and a shape that means something; what it does in a room is mark an intention.
Why this object
The physician's gourd, hung near a sickbed in Chinese folk practice. The shape is the reasoning: a narrow neck over a full body holds what it gathers. Brass makes it a Metal object, which is why it also turns up as a remedy for the earth stars.
How to wear or place it
Traditionally hung or set beside a bed, or placed in the Health direction from your personal reading.
Brass darkens in humid air, so keep it somewhere dry if you would rather it stayed bright.

How we choose what we sell
Materials, stated plainly
Every listing names what it is made of. If a stone has been dyed or heat-treated, the listing says so.
Certificates you can check
Where a lab certificate exists we show it with its number, so you can verify it yourself rather than take our word.
No promises we can't keep
We explain the tradition behind each object and where it belongs. We never claim it will bring luck, health or money.
Questions
Is it natural?
The material line above states it exactly. Where we hold a lab certificate it is shown with a number you can verify, and if a stone has been treated the listing says so.
Will it bring me luck?
Honestly: no object does that by itself. Feng shui treats objects as the last step, after placement and the room itself. What this gives you is a carefully chosen object, in the right place, as a daily reminder of what you are working toward.
Where exactly should it go?
That depends on you or your home, which is what the free readings calculate. Each one shows the direction or sector, and why.
Where does it ship from, and how long does it take?
From China. We do not keep stock in a U.S. warehouse: each piece is ordered from the workshop that makes it after you order, packed in Guangdong, and flown to you. Processing takes 1–3 business days and shipping 12–20 business days, so most orders arrive 13–23 business days after they are placed. We ship to the United States only. Shipping is included in the price. U.S. import duties or taxes are not: if any are charged on delivery, the buyer pays them.
Shipping and returns?
Shipping is included in the price, so there is nothing extra to pay at checkout. If a piece arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, tell us within 14 days of delivery and we will send a replacement or refund you in full. The shipping and returns policies are linked beside the Buy button.
